The Who have confirmed that they will headline this year's Glastonbury festival.
Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend said in a press conference that they were ecstatic to be performing at the event.
According to the Daily Mail Townshend said, "When I woke up this morning one of the things I thought about is that I'm so happy to be able to say to my 17-year-old son that I'm headlining at Glastonbury.
"I'm 61 and its the coolest thing to be able to say to him 'yes come down, come down to Glastonbury, bring your friends and bring a caravan'."
Daltrey, 62, added: "Festivals are really important to us. They are incredibly important for reaching a young audience. That's what keeps our music alive, singing to young people. Our music still resonates today."
