Arctic Monkeys to play Spanish festival

The Arctic Monkeys have announced that they will play at this summer's Benicassim Festival in Spain.

The annual festival is held between the cities of Barcelona and Valencia, and is commonly attended by a high proportion of English fans.

Held in July, the festival will also see the likes of Iggy Pop and the Stooges, Human League and the Magic Numbers perform.

Brazilian band CSS, The Hives and !!! are also confirmed to play, with more acts joining the lineup over the coming weeks.
