The Jam are to reform for a 20-date UK tour without their original frontman Paul Weller.
Bassist Bruce Foxton and drummer Rick Buckler will begin their first tour together in 25 years at Oxford's Zodiac nightclub on May 2.
Weller has been invited to join them on the tour but has not responded.
The Jam released their debut single 'In The City' in April 1977, sold over 14 million albums and scored 18 top 40 singles before they split in May 1982.
Foxton said of the upcoming shows: "This tour is deliberately intimate and something of a warm-up to our own material to launch later."
Buckler added: "Paul Weller has a fantastic solo career and is one of the UK's most talented songwriters.
"Paul is always welcome to join us for the reunion, but until then, we've got a tour and a new album to do!"
