Matt Cardle has released a preview of his new album The Fire.
The singer unveiled a clip on YouTube today (October 15), where he discusses the record track by track, including his inspiration from the late Amy Winehouse.
Watch Cardle talk about The Fire - which is out October 29 - below:
Discussing his new single 'It's Only Love', he said: "It came about right at the end of the writing process. It came alive without us realising what was going on.
"We were just there having fun and I think it really works."
He continued: "I ended up referencing Frank Sinatra... and Amy Winehouse 'Love is a Losing Game' - 'It's a losing game that I won't play'.
"All these things were insinuating it was love that I was talking about rather than laying it out so blatantly."
Cardle recently told Digital Spy that he feels more in control of his music after signing with a new record label.
