Leona Lewis is trailing Jake Bugg on the midweek album chart, while Calvin Harris is on course to claim his third UK number one single as a lead artist.

The Scottish DJ's latest collaboration 'Sweet Nothing' featuring Florence Welch currently leads the singles tally, as Swedish House Mafia's 'Don't You Worry Child' slips to two.

Paloma Faith's cover of INXS's 'Never Tear Us Apart' moves up to 18, Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj's 'Beauty And A Beat' is at 24 and the Pet Shop Boys are at 29 with 'Leaving'.

Over on the album chart, Jake Bugg's self-titled debut album is on course to prevent Leona Lewis from scoring her third UK number one album.

The X Factor diva's new collection Glassheart is currently trailing by 4,000 copies at two, while Mumford & Sons fall to three with Babel.

Bat For Lashes are a new entry at four with The Haunted Man and Muse are at five with The 2nd Law.

Elsewhere, Rebecca Ferguson's repackaged edition of Heaven is at seven and Placebo's mini album B3 is on the edge of the chart at 38.
