The singer was inspired by the dance group on a particular track off her new release, the Daily Star reports.
"I love Faithless and what they've done - drum and bass stuff that's really heavy and dirty. My track 'Come Alive' is definitely dubstep-influenced."
Lewis continued: "Because its so syncopated it's very powerful and has an effect on you."
The 'Trouble' singer's new album is currently at number two in the midweek charts and is trailing Jake Bugg by 4,000 copies.
The former X Factor winner has revealed to Digital Spy that she would "like to release another uptempo single".
