Katie Blagden, 20, pocketed £2,950 without supplying tickets and was branded "a thoroughly dishonest young woman" by a judge.
The single mum, who worked at a rock bar in Doncaster, advertised VIP tickets for the 2011 Leeds Festival and Sonisphere in Hertfordshire on Facebook.
She asked for £150 up-front for the tickets and all the money went into her bank account.
The judge went on to say: "Various people gave you money, you didn't provide the tickets and the money disappeared for your own uses."
Blagden was ordered to repay the money within 14 days and given a 32-week jail term suspended for two years. She will also have to do 150 hours of community service.
