'Academy' chief slates Girls Aloud, Sugababes

The academy headmaster, known as Strict Dick, labeled Girls Aloud unoriginal and added: “As a head teacher of the Fame Academy I have to judge on voices and choose the best voices around.
“And I don’t hear a great deal of singing talent there.”
He continued to air his views on the Sugababes. “Well they came, they went and then they came back again. I feel they are an act driven by A & R departments rather than their own ability to sing.”
Park is running a special Comic Relief version of his show while the two bands are uniting to record a version of Run DMC's 'Walk This Way'.
Park said he hoped the single would do well for charity: “I hope it sells millions and raises lots of money.”
