One Direction announce first European tour

One Direction have announced their first major tour of mainland Europe.

The X Factor boyband embark on an 18-date jaunt across the continent, playing sets in France, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal and Denmark next April and May.

Tickets go on sale between Friday, November 2 and Monday, November 5, depending on the venue.

One Direction release their second album Take Me Home on November 12.

The group today unveiled their upcoming single 'Little Things', which was written by Ed Sheeran.
