The track - originally produced by Xenomania - has been reworked by Jim Eliot, whose recent credits include Ladyhawke, Kylie Minogue and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
The song is available to download on November 18 and serves as this year's official Children in Need single.
'Something New' also leads their upcoming greatest hits album Ten, which follows on November 26.
The group recently released the tracklisting for the retrospective's second disc, which was voted for by fans.
Their upcoming UK arena tour kicks off in Newcastle on February 21 next year.
