"Finally, it's all out in the open and everyone knows what our plans are," Walsh told Look.

"Now we're starting all the discussions for our TV performances, the tour and videos. It's really exciting!"

Asked what changed after reports of a falling-out among the group, Walsh added: "Nadine [Coyle] moved to LA, so she wasn't around to come to nights out and dinners, so she was obviously going to feel a bit distant.

"But over the past year we've seen so much of each other that it feels like it's back to normal now."

Walsh again said that Girls Aloud are "never going to split up" but also admitted: "We've not talked about anything post-tour, to be honest."

She added: "I think we'll all know where we want to go and whether or not we go back to doing stuff on our own and then come back again… for us, it's just deciding how we feel and going year by year."
