Muse win NME Best British Band

Muse, My Chemical Romance and Jamie T walked away with the top honours at the Shockwaves NME Awards.
Prizes were dished out at a star-studded ceremony at Hammersmith Palais in London on Thursday.
Muse were named Best British Band, My Chemical Romance were top foreigners and Jamie was given Best Solo Artist. Lily Allen was again an unexpected loser, only taking home a Worst Dressed award.
