Idris Elba directs Mumford & Sons 'Lover Of The Light' video - watch

Idris Elba has directed Mumford & Sons' new music video for their single 'Lover Of The Light'.

The Prometheus and Luther actor, who is also featured in the clip, used his Twitter account to share the music video with fans.



Elba posted: "I want to share this with you... I wrote & directed this video for @MumfordAndSons Very proud, amazing song..."

"But love the one you hold/ And I will be your gold/ To have and to hold/ A lover of the light," the band sing on the track, which is released next month.

Mumford & Sons recently said that they don't want to be the next Coldplay as they don't aim "to conquer anything".

"We just want to play good shows. We may change our minds but stadiums are something we never really want to do," frontman Marcus Mumford explained. "Arenas are plenty big enough."
