T In The Park organisers are to release a new batch of tickets this week.
Around 40,000 tickets sold out in under 40 minutes on February 24, breaking the festival's previous record set last summer. 35,000 were sold in the initial release last July, in just over an hour.
Now the festival has acquired more space, although the new set of tickets will only allow camping on the Saturday and Sunday nights of the three-day festival. They go on sale this Friday (March 9) at 9am, and are limited to two per person.
The festival is scheduled for July 6-8, and will feature headlining bands the Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and Snow Patrol.
