Noel Gallagher to play charity concert
Noel Gallagher has been recruited to play at a charity concert at the end of the month.

The Oasis guitarist will play a semi-acoustic set for the Versus Cancer event, which will be held at the MEN Arena in Manchester on March 30.

The line-up for the gig also includes Paul Weller, The Charlatans, Echo & The Bunnymen and ex-Stone Roses frontman Ian Brown.

The concert is being put on by the Great Northern Aid Trust with all earnings being donated in aid of cancer research and awareness.
