The Kings of Leon have praised British music fans ahead of their UK tour.
The Nashville-based act said they were looking forward to the gigs because Brits have always been supportive of their music.
Frontman Caleb Followill explained: "Playing live is great, it's what we love to do and it's what we're best at. To be able to do it over here, this is the place where we like to do it the most because you guys actually get it. Everyone else is starting to get it, but you guys have always gotten it."
He also revealed Because Of The Times, the band's third album, due out on April 3, was recorded at a farm they have bought on the outskirts of Nashville. Followill told BBC 6 Music: "We've been around the world and seen all the oceans and seen all these things but in our hearts, we're still country kids looking for a good time, you know?"
The tour begins in Swindon on April 14.
