The Who, Roger Waters and Alicia Keys will also be performing at the Madison Square Garden charity show on Wednesday, December 12.
Additional Concert for Sandy Relief performers include New York native Billy Joel and New Jersey's Bon Jovi.
The Concert for Sandy Relief will benefit The Robin Hood Foundation, which famously organised the post-9/11 Concert for New York City in late 2001.
Ticket information will be released in the coming weeks.
Several high-profile benefit shows have been held in the two weeks since Hurricane Sandy struck the east of the US, killing more than 100 and leaving thousands homeless.
Springsteen, Joel and Jon Bon Jovi also appeared on NBC's Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together telethon. The show raised more than $23 million (£14.4m) for relief efforts.
MTV airs its own telethon Restore the Shore - featuring the cast of Jersey Shore - tonight (November 15) at 11pm ET.
