Maroon 5 match Carly Rae Jepsen's 2012 Hot 100 record

Maroon 5 spend a ninth week at number one on Billboard's Hot 100 chart.

The band's latest hit 'One More Night' matches a record set by Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe' earlier this year for the longest run atop the tally.

Rihanna advances to two with 'Diamonds', Ke$ha is up to three with 'Die Young', fun. are at four with 'Some Nights' and Psy's 'Gangnam Style' slips to five.

The Lumineers are at 13 with 'Ho Hey', Kanye West rises a place to 15 with 'Clique' and Kendrick Lamar breaks the Top 20 with 'Swimming Pools (Drank)' at 20.

Further down, Ed Sheeran climbs to 26 with 'The A Team', Adele's 'Skyfall' climbs back up to 33 and Justin Bieber's 'Beauty And A Beat' jumps from 54 to 38.

Nicki Minaj's 'Va Va Voom' gains ground at 46, Ellie Goulding continues to rise with 'Anything Could Happen' at 58 and Pink is at 69 with 'Try'.
