Taylor Swift performs new track 'State of Grace' - video

Taylor Swift has performed her new track 'State of Grace' on US television.

The star performed the cut - lifted from her latest album Red - in front of Simon Cowell, Britney Spears, Demi Lovato and LA Reid on The X Factor USA.



'State of Grace' was released as a promotional single earlier this year, in support of Swift's recent collection.

The star will release 'Begin Again' as her new US single, while 'I Knew You Were Trouble' will be her next cut in the UK.

Swift sold 1.2 million copies of Red in the US during its first week on sale and claimed her first number one album in the UK.

"I had hoped that my fans would get what I was doing there - that they would embrace it," she previously said of the achievement.

"And the fact that they celebrated that and 1.2m of them went out and bought it the first week and it became my first UK number one album, it is absolutely incredible."
