Joss Stone facing album flop?
Published Wednesday, Mar 14 2007, 13:20 GMT | By David Cribb
Joss Stone looks set for a huge disappointment with her new album sales, following her recent media appearances.
The singer has come into the public eye over the last month for all the wrong reasons, including being two hours late on stage for a recent gig, and her bizarre appearance at the Brit Awards.
This week she released her latest LP, Introducing Joss Stone, and early sales figures see it failing to compete on any level with other albums.
Both X Factor albums, namely those by Ben Mills and Ray Quinn, are outselling Stone's effort. On top of that, Simply Red's 13th release Stay has already established a healthy lead on the singer's album.
