The Arctic Monkeys are employing a Glastonbury-style ticketing system to try and beat touts.
Anyone wanting tickets for the band's upcoming UK tour has to sign up on their official website. They will then be subject to a random "fair ballot". Lucky fans will be sent a PIN number they can use to log in and purchase.
The band want to avoid genuine fans losing out to touts making money on eBay to get to the shows, which begin on April 23.
"We are trying hard to fight against touting and so invite you to take part in a fair ballot to get tickets for this tour," they said in a statement on the website.
