'Pretty Little Liars' Lucy Hale to release country album next summer?

Lucy Hale has revealed that she plans to release her debut album next summer.

The Pretty Little Liars actress told Life & Style that she has already started working on the record, which will have a "country pop" feel.



"It's amazing," she said. "We started to record it last month... The album will be out this summer. A single will be out in the spring."

Hale added that she "couldn't be more excited" to make an album with a country feel.

"I grew up in Tennessee, so that's always been my heart and soul," she said. "[Singing] was my first love and I love music."

Hale signed a deal with Hollywood Records in June, saying at the time that she has a "huge passion" for music.

She is thought to be working with Sugarland star Kristian Bush on the album.
