Klaxons turned down 'Hollyoaks'

New rave band Klaxons have revealed that they were asked to write a song for Hollyoaks.
The 'Golden Skans' stars turned down the offer because they felt that associating with the Channel 4 soap would compromise their alternative image.
Bassist Jamie Reynolds told the NME: "We actually got asked to do a song for Hollyoaks...We didn't get very many details through of what they were after, but I've never really seen Hollyoaks.
"It's just that we're trying to be a bit weird, and being a bit weird doesn't really include being on Hollyoaks."
