Morrissey, Blur to headline Mexico's Vive Latino festival

Morrissey and Blur are to headline the Vive Latino music festival.

The annual festival takes place in Mexico City and features a mix of Latin and Spanish acts with international popstars.

Vive Latino's opening night on March 14 will be headlined by Morrissey and Enjambre, who are among the leading bands of Mexican indie rock.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs and electronic music icons Underworld are scheduled to perform on the following evening, March 15.

Blur are tasked with headlining Vive Latino 2013 on March 16, while The Cadillacs close the festival on March 17.

Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City will host the entire concert series.

Vive Latino was launched in 1998 and has since featured performances by Los Lobos, Reel Big Fish, The Magic Numbers, Fatboy Slim and TV on the Radio.
