Exclusive: Cheryl Cole: 'Girls Aloud tour will be spectacular'

Cheryl Cole has insisted that Girls Aloud's upcoming tour will be "spectacular".

The singer said there will be "a lot of rehearsals" ahead of the arena shows, which kick off in February next year.

Speaking at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball, she told Digital Spy: "It's taken us all this week just to rehearse for the Jingle Bell Ball, so I'm sure there is going to be a lot of rehearsals for the tour as well.

"I'm sure it's going to be spectacular."

Asked why she has postponed the release date of her new single 'Screw You', she insisted: "Girls Aloud is me, it's where I come from.

"I've had ten years of success. The fans of my [solo work] are Girls Aloud fans. Some of them were 7 at the time and now they're young women. I've got a lot to give back."

Girls Aloud's UK tour kicks off in Newcastle's Metro Arena on February 21, 2013.

The group recently admitted that they are having trouble remembering the words to their songs after three years apart.

Their new single 'Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me' is out on December 16. Watch the official music video below:
