Two separate star-packed charity gigs are raising money to help cancer sufferers.

Noel Gallagher played the first of a week of shows at London's Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust on Monday.

He was joined by Paul Weller during his set and the pair performed The Butterfly Collector and the Beatles' All You Need is Love together.

Gallagher was due to return with The Coral on Tuesday, while a comedy night fronted by Russell Brand and Noel Fielding was planned for Wednesday. Kasabian were scheduled for Thursday, the Kaisers Chiefs on Friday and The Who on Saturday.

Meanwhile, an all star cast will take to the stage at the MEN Arena in Manchester on Friday to raise cash for charity Versus Cancer.

Performers will include former Stone Roses Ian Brown and Mani, ex-Smiths star Andy Rourke, Echo and the Bunnymen and comedian Johnny Vegas.
