Scooch accused of copying Eurovision song

A Swedish singer called Pandora, who has herself represented her country at the contest on two occasions, has called for the British entry to be disqualified.
The singer told The Sun, "Scooch's entry is more than similar to my song 'No Regrets' that I released on an album back in 1999.
"I want Scooch's entry to be disqualified."
However, Russ Spencer from Scooch denied the plagiarism claims, saying: "We've never heard of Pandora and have certainly never heard her music before."
A spokeman for the BBC supported the assertion. He said: "The Scooch song is an original song written by Russ Spencer, Morton Schjolin, Andrew Hill and Paul Tarry. Those writers were never aware of Pandora's songs, so she can be assured there's been no duplication of her work."
