Courteeners: 'We wouldn't mind Calvin Harris remixing new tracks'

The Courteeners have revealed that they wouldn't mind Calvin Harris remixing one of their new tracks, if it meant they got a top five hit.

Frontman Liam Fray told the Daily Star about the singers and bands that he admires.

Fray said: "If Calvin Harris wants to remix one of our tracks and give us a top five hit then he's more than welcome."

The singer also talked about the songs that mean a lot to the Mancunian band.

"We love Editors and their song Munich, which became an anthem for a friend of ours who battled cancer. He won that battle so the song is particularly special," he said.

The Courteneers release their new single, 'Lose Control', on January 28. Watch the video for the song below:
