Pepsi launch Beyoncé Super Bowl fan photo contest

By
Pepsi have launched a competition offering Beyoncé fans the chance to appear in a commercial that will act as an introduction to the singer's Super Bowl performance.

Fans will have the chance to be a part of the first ever crowd-sourced Pepsi Halftime Introduction and help welcome the 'End Of Time' singer to the stage on Feburary 3.

Beyoncé confirmed her Super Bowl appearance in October, after posting a picture on her official website with the title "Countdown to touchdown".

Entrants are required to submit videos of themselves performing the singer's signature dance moves, and hundreds of clips will be included in the video introduction at the 2013 half-time show.

The star follows in the footsteps of Madonna and the Black Eyed Peas in headlining the half-time Super Bowl show, and performed at the event herself back in 2004 when she was invited to sing the national anthem.

It was also announced earlier this month that Beyoncé has signed a sponsorship deal with Pepsi worth an estimated $50 million (£31 million) tying in with her performance at the Pepsi-sponsored Super Bowl. She will also appear on limited edition cans from March 2013.

Fans entering the competition should visit www.pepsi.com/halftime to submit their clips.
