Damien Hirst has designed this year's prize, which will be handed out to the winners during the Brit Awards 2013 ceremony at London's O2 Arena on February 20.
"I am honoured to be asked to design this year's statue, it has become such an iconic award, I love the Brits," Hirst said.
The new statue is white with multi-coloured spots, with Hirst becoming the third British artist to design the trophy following Vivienne Westwood in 2011 and Sir Peter Blake in 2012.
"Damien is truly one of the most important British artists and his reimagining of the statue will make winning a 2013 Brit an even more special proposition," Brits Chairman David Joseph said.
The nominations for the Brit Awards 2013 will be announced in London this evening (January 10), where this year's Brits Critics' Choice Awards winner Tom Odell will collect his prize.
James Corden will host this year's ceremony, while the lineup of performers has yet to be confirmed.
