Pink beats 1D to claim 2012's best-selling album in Australia

Pink has claimed the best-selling album of 2012 in Australia.

The singer's latest record The Truth About Love has been certified six times platinum in Australia and has beaten One Direction's debut Up All Night to claim the top spot.

Adele's 21 lands at three after finishing in second place in the UK and topping the US year-end chart for a second year running.

Michael Bublé's Christmas finishes at four, while Ed Sheeran's debut album + completes the top five best-sellers during 2012, according to ARIA.

Elsewhere, One Direction's second studio album Take Me Home ends the year at eight, Mumford & Sons' Babel comes in at 12 and Lana Del Rey's Born To Die is at 14.
