The Rolling Stones hint at Brit Awards 2013 performance?

The Rolling Stones have hinted at a possible performance at this year's Brit Awards.

The legendary rock band are nominated for 'Best Live Act' at the ceremony next month alongside the likes of Mumford & Sons and Muse.

Mick Jagger stated that he is looking forward to being back at London's O2 Arena, the same stage of their first comeback gig last year.

"We all had such a blast," he told The Sun. "Everyone was at the top of their game and the hometown audiences at The O2 were just fantastic.

Keith Richards added: "Onstage is where we belong. When I'm up there with Mick, Charlie and Ronnie, everything is rocking, so a big thanks to Brit fans and the Brits nom!"

The Rolling Stones performed a series of concerts as part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, kicking off at the O2 Arena in November.

Robbie Williams, Muse, Mumford & Sons, Ben Howard, Emeli Sandé and One Direction will perform at next month's Brit Awards, to be held on February 20.
