The Chemical Brothers have announced that they will be playing at this year's Glastonbury festival.
Although the festival organisers are yet to officially announce a line-up, the band released the following statement in the press release for their new album We Are The Night: "The Chemical Brothers have exclusively announced that they will be headlining the Other Stage at Glastonbury this year".
The appearance has been rumoured for some time, along with strong suggestions that The Arctic Monkeys, The Killers and The Who will headline the Pyramid stage over the weekend.
The festival starts on Friday June 22 and runs for three days.
