Fleetwood Mac, Frank Ocean headlining New Orleans Jazz Festival

Fleetwood Mac, Frank Ocean and John Mayer are among the headliners for this year's New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.

This year's event is being held from April 26 to April 28, and then resumes a week later from May 2 to May 5 in venues throughout New Orleans.

Joining Fleetwood Mac as headliners will be Billy Joel, Maroon 5, The Black Keys, Dave Matthews Band, Phoenix, Hall & Oates and blues legend BB King.

Local legends Dr John, Allen Toussaint and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band will also be performing during this year's concert series.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival was founded in 1970 to honour the wide variety of music that emanates from the city.

Duke Ellington, Mahalia Jackson, The Meters, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Buckwheat Zydeco, The Eagles and Foo Fighters are among the acts who have played the festival in the ensuing decades.
