Gareth Gates has revealed that he plans to attend at least one festival this summer.
The 22-year-old singer admitted that he hopes he will be able to win back the respect of festival fans with his new material, but he is happy to enjoy the music of other artists in the meantime.
"I'm aware I've got a lot to prove till them festival crowds accept me again - but I'm going to try to get to one as a punter," Gates told the Daily Star. "I'll do a tent. I love all that. Sleeping rough and living it up is easy.
"I'm going to tour again myself at some point - but there are no real plans yet."
Gates releases his third album on Monday.
