The Sheffield band has been strongly rumoured to be playing the famous festival, and this morning they revealed to BBC Radio 1's Jo Whiley that they would be closing the Friday night.
When asked about the group's sleeping arrangements, singer Alex Turner laughed: “We’re going to stay in a wigwam. Maybe we could do the gig from there.”
The Arctics also expressed their longing to work with Amy Winehouse, and admitted they hope to get together when both artists play at Old Trafford Cricket Ground in Manchester this summer.
“We really like her and her work and we would love to perform with her. We hear she is going to be playing at the same gig in Manchester as us. It would be great if we could perform live together.”
