When WRUG Radio asked about the Super Bowl reunion, Williams said: "That's not confirmed. It is rumoured. I'm gonna be in the musical Fela!. I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it's not true."

Williams will tour with the Tony Award-winning musical, starting January 29 at the Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington DC.

However, Williams did reveal that the trio recently recorded a song "with each other before the holidays", reassuring their fans that "one day" the group might get back together as they've "talked about it".

Super Bowl XLVII will air on Sunday, February 3 from 6.30pm ET on CBS.
