> The Who: 'Quadrophenia' (Deluxe Edition) - Album review

The 'Quadrophenia Tour' has been personally directed by frontman Roger Daltrey and focuses on the original rock opera album, replacing the narrative used in previous stage versions with imagery projected on screens.

The shows follow their North American tour, which kicked off in November 2012 and wraps up in Rhode Island in February.

Quadrophenia peaked at number 2 on the UK album chart upon its release and is often cited as one of the greatest rock and roll albums ever made.

A film loosely based on the LP was released in 1979, directed by Franc Roddam and starring Sting, Ray Winstone, Trevor Laird and Lesley Ash.

Tickets for the gigs go on sale February 1 at 9am from www.aeglive.co.uk
