The rapper will release 'Yung Rapunxel' as her first major label single on February 12, ahead of her debut album later this year.
"BIG CHANGE OF PLANS," Banks tweeted, before elaborating: "My first single is actually not going 2 be Miss Amor / Miss Camaraderie'. It's goin 2 be a song called 'YUNG RAPUNXEL' prod. By @LILINTERNET."
The star then confirmed the February 12 release date and reaffirmed that it would be the first official track from her new album.
Banks signed to Interscope Records in the US and Polydor in the UK last year. So far her releases have included the '212' and '1991' EPs, as well as her Fantasea mixtape.
