The singer is set to perform at the prestigious halftime show on Sunday night (February 2).
It was revealed today that Beyoncé will not be paid for the lavish show and may even have to cover the cost of the production going over budget out of her own pocket.
The performance has become one of the most eagerly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime shows in years, after a leaked setlist sparked rumours that the gig will feature a Destiny's Child reunion.
Beyoncé has also been at the centre of controversy recently after it was alleged that she lip-synched the national anthem at President Barack Obama's inauguration ceremony.
Her Destiny's Child bandmate Michelle Williams came to her defence, arguing: "It's [her] personal preference. With big crowds and echoes, you know when it's a big historical moment, you don't want any room for any mistakes, so I can understand why it was done."
