Monkeys make much less than expected

The Arctic Monkeys' takings for the last financial year have proved to be much less than expected.

Accounts from their music company, Bang Bang Touring, reveal that the band has made £190,081 over the course of the last year.

However, according to The Sun they are owed a total of £213,777 from a number of other debtors.

Tellingly, band member Jamie Cook was ejected from a bar recently after refusing to pay £22 for an order of two bottles of beer.
