The Postal Service announce UK, US tour

The Postal Service have announced their first headline tour in ten years.

The duo, who reformed last month, will play various shows around the US and Europe later this year.

The tour will kick off on April 9 in Reno, Nevada, finishing on June 14 at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn. They will play two UK shows in Manchester and London.

Former Rilo Kiley singer Jenny Lewis, who contributed to The Postal Service's 2003 album Give Up, will also join the tour.

The band will re-release an updated version of Give Up on April 9 to celebrate its tenth anniversary.

The special edition includes 15 bonus tracks, including previously unreleased songs 'Turn Around' and 'A Tattered Line of String'.

April 20 - Indio, CA, Coachella
May 18 - Manchester, Academy 2
May 20 - London, Brixton Academy
May 21 - Paris, Trianon
May 23 - Barcelona, Primavera Soundwave
June 14 - New York, NY, Barclays Centre
