Jay-Z 'refused cameo during Beyoncé Super Bowl performance'

Jay-Z reportedly refused to appear during Beyoncé's Super Bowl halftime performance on Sunday (February 3).

The rapper was originally going to feature during his wife's solo hit 'Crazy In Love' at the New Orleans show, but pulled out at the last minute.

"He wanted that to be her moment and didn't want to take away from it," a source told Us Weekly. "She's been working her ass off."

Jay-Z watched the performance form a special viewing area backstage with his and Beyoncé's baby daughter Blue Ivy instead.

Beyoncé was joined by Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams during the set, which became the third most-watched television programme in US history.
