Her appearance at the newly built Wembley Stadium was announced at a press conference on Thursday.
Others revealed to be joining the all-star bill were: Rod Stewart, Natasha Bedingfield, Kanye West and The Feeling.
Those already due to perform include Joss Stone, Duran Duran and Andrew Lloyd Webber and it will be hosted by Sir Elton John.
It has also been rumoured that Take That will make an appearance at the event on July 1.
