Black Keys drummer on Justin Bieber Grammy snub: 'He's rich, right?'

The Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney has laughed off Justin Bieber's 'snub' at the Grammy Awards.

Bieber did not pick up a single nomination at this year's Grammy Awards, sparking fury from his manager Scooter Braun.

However, Carney - who picked up four Grammys with the Black Keys - told TMZ that Bieber doesn't really need the gongs.

"He's rich, right?" he quipped.

"I mean, I don't know. Grammys are, like, for music, not for money, and he's making a lot of money. I don't know - he should be happy, I guess."

Carney also offered aspiring Grammy winners some words of advice, saying: "I guess buy a minivan and go on tour - see what happens."

Bieber, who has previously said that he knows he will be nominated for a Grammy one day, unveiled an unfinished track during the Grammys ceremony last night.
