The singer-songwriter and ex-theaudience frontwoman told Digital Spy at the Elle Style Awards last night (February 11) that the record would come out in September.

Ellis-Bextor said that her upcoming fifth album had "elements of fairytales and the '70s and the '60s".
She has previously described the album as "a bit more wistful" and "a bit less dancey" than her earlier work.

Ellis-Bextor's last album was 2011's much-delayed Make A Scene.
Later that year, she recorded a cover of Arcade Fire's 'Rebellion (Lies)' for the Songs To Save A Life Samaritans charity release.
Since its release, she and her husband - Richard Jones of The Feeling - welcomed their third child Ray Holiday Jones.
