Bieber's manager Scooter Braun had previously slammed the awards after his client failed to land a single nomination for this year's ceremony.

Carney said of Bieber being snubbed: "Grammys are, like, for music, not for money, and he's making a lot of money. I don't know - he should be happy, I guess."
The Black Keys picked up the gongs for 'Best Rock Performance', 'Best Rock Song' and 'Best Rock Album', while Dan Auerbach was also honoured in his own right in the 'Producer of the Year (Non-Classical)' category.
