The rapper has praised Robbie's "distinctive" voice and is currently in the early stages of planning their collaboration.
"People should look forward to hearing 50 Cent and Robbie together. He's keen to explore hip hop," 50 told The Sun.
"He's got a very distinctive voice and with the right song we could work well together."
Robbie announced that he had been contacted by the US star's representatives about the project last month.
