Green Day to release charity single

The band will release their cover of John Lennon's 'Working Class Hero' which they recorded for Amnesty International.
The single will be available on iTunes, and follows other Lennon covers released by REM and Corrine Bailey Rae.
The song will be included on a full album release of Lennon tracks recorded by bands including Snow Patrol, U2 and the Black Eyed Peas. Instant Karma: The Campaign To Save Darfur, hits record store shelves on May 25.
