Azealia Banks defends using "f*ggot" for second time

By
Azealia Banks has defended herself after calling Perez Hilton a "f*ggot" for a second time.

The rapper and celebrity blogger were locked in a war of words once again earlier today (February 15), with Banks branding Hilton an "evil f*ggot".

Twitter users were quick to criticise Banks for her use of the homophobic slur, but the star argued that she doesn't use it within that context.

"Here we go again. Everyone pretending to be so shocked and moved by the word f*ggot," Banks tweeted.

"It's like society is so bored with itself it needs to hold on to these outdated rules of what you can say and cannot say.

"Why has society accepted 'n***er' As a colloquialism ... But will not accept 'f*ggot'?"

She added: "Everyones always acting like its f**king 1905 in this bitch. F*ggot means coward, liar, backstabber....... Energy stealer, blood sucker.

"Perez tries to get every gay person all riled up when the only f*ggot I see ........ is him."

Banks was first criticised for aiming the homophobic slur at Hilton last month.

The star recently confirmed that her debut single 'Yung Rapunxel' has been delayed until March by her record label.
